The legendary Dry Creek Road has been the famous address
for some of the Sonoma Valley’s finest wines & wineries.
Now, it hosts a charming vacation home - Vineyard Haven – set
among acres of lush Zinfandel vineyards, in the heart of
wine county.
Vineyard Haven, a newly remodeled & updated
1,700 square foot home, offers three bedrooms, two
bathrooms & with
room for up to eight overnight guests. The completely remodeled
kitchen is a gourmet’s delight with a four-burner gas
stove, double ovens & all of the equipment necessary
for creating gourmet meals.
The kitchen area is open to both the living room and kitchen.
This open "great-room" area is perfect for gatherings
of family & friends. French doors may be opened out onto
the entertainment-sized deck with a Redwood
table, bench, chairs & umbrella
creating a wonderful indoor-outdoor environment.
Heavenly beds with fine, high thread-count linens, down blankets & fresh
fluffy pillows will calm & soothe you after a full day
of wine tasting & other Dry Creek activities. Each room
has bedside tables with reading lights, large closets & ceiling
fans. One king, two queen beds & a queen-sized
sofa bed will comfortably accommodate eight adults
total. The master bedroom & bathroom also has it’s own additional entrance
from and doors that close off to the rest of the house, creating
your own “wing”.
Lush gardens surround the house - dozens
of varieties of roses, lavender, gardenias, hibiscus & hydrangeas
as well as fresh spearmint & sage. Wander through the garden & sample
a delectable organic orange, nectarine or Meyer lemon from
the trees throughout the property.
Dry Creek in Healdsburg, California is recognized as a world-renowned
wine-producing region, reminding travelers of the hills in
Tuscany complimented by the temperate Mediterranean climate.
Vineyards and wineries, interconnected by scenic country byways,
surround Vineyard Haven. Over 100 wineries are within a 30-minute
drive from the house.
